CBS News is running a live stream of the coverage. Awful news.

Not a good day for planes. First Southwest now this. Fearing the worst in the C-130's case.

Hoping for the best, but that looks very very bad.

Sounds like they were flying it to the Boneyard, so hopefully there was a minimal crew on board.

Two confirmed dead so far. Not optimistic that it won’t be the full five.

Word is it rolled and went into the ground nose first. 2 dead. 5 on board.

That’s not good at all. Prayers that the other 3 on board got out, and no one on the ground was hurt.

5 on board, two ‘confirmed’ dead. :(

Sad news for all involved, that’s a relatively busy road, so hopefully everyone on the ground was OK. Looks like they got it right side up and aligned with the median, but just ran out of altitude.

If the location on the tweet is correct, it was just northeast of runway 1.
(edited with better location info)

It was an Air National Guard unit from Puerto Rico. They were flying from Savannah to New Mexico or Arizona. 2 of the 5 crew are confirmed dead. No information on any injured or killed motorist. Let us hope nobody driving on highway 21 when this happened.

Damn. May they rest in peace.
And shit, it’s not like PR hasn’t had enough crap to deal with lately.
